The fashion center at La Paz Optometric prides itself on quality optics and fashionable eyewear. We have over 1,800 designer frames and sunglasses to choose from. We deal with high caliber optical labs that have access to the finest ophthalmic lens materials available. - Frames/Sunwear – A few of our designer brand names include Gucci, Versace, Dolce and Gabana, D&G, Fendi, Calvin Klein, CK, Bebe, Armani, BCBG, RayBan, Vogue, Donna Karan, Michael Kors, Guess, Candies, Joseph Abboud, Tommy Bahama, Izod, Carrera, Juicy Couture, Oakley, Coach, Nike and Maui Jim.
- Lenses – Are you bothered by glare, especially at night? Try an anti-glare coating. This is the same coating that is used for camera lenses. Do your eyeglasses seem too heavy? Do your eyeglass lenses look too thick? Try a lens material with a higher index of refraction. That will make the lenses up to 50% thinner and lighter. Does your prescription make your eyes look bug-eyed or coke bottle-like? An aspheric lens makes the lenses flatter, thus eliminating the bug-eyed look. These are just a few examples of how we can help you design a pair of eyeglasses to best meet your needs.
- On Site Finishing Lab – For your convenience, many of our eyeglass are edged right here in our office. This service allows you to get your glasses quicker than sending them out (for single vision). We also edge the lenses in house so that we can insure that they meet the exact specifications that your needs require.
Why not eyeglasses in about an hour? Well, there are many steps in fabricating a pair of glasses. Rushing each step could lead to errors. We prefer to make your glasses in a productive, yet unhurried manner. This ensures excellent quality with little to no mistakes.
