Meet Dr. Christina Leung.
Dr. Christina Leung completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. She graduated Beta Sigma Kappa from Southern California College of Optometry to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree. Her extensive training in optometric care includes professional internships at the VA Medical Center of West Los Angeles, VA Ambulatory Care Center of Los Angeles, and the Optometric Center of Los Angeles. She has worked with the Foothill Center for the Vision Impaired and Partially Sighted in Glendora and at the Low Vision Department of Rehabilitation Clinic in Las Vegas to provide eye care for the partially sighted. She has also provided eye care exams at the California State University, Fullerton Student Health Center for CSUF students and was involved in the vision screening program of local school districts.
    Dr. Leung is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, the Orange County Optometric Association, and the Asian American Optometric Society. She is licensed by the State Board of Optometry of California and is certified to use diagnostic and therapeutic pharmacological agents in the detection, treatment, and management of eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, allergies, and dry eyes. In addition to prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, Dr. Leung is dedicated to providing comprehensive optometric care for patients with a wide variety of eye conditions and patients undergoing LASIK and cataract surgery. Dr. Leung is also certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT), a non-surgical process to reshape the eye with therapeutic lenses during sleep to correct for nearsightedness and astigmatism. She is committed to providing individualized and personal care through educating her patients on their ocular health and care.
    Dr. Leung was born and raised in San Francisco and now resides in Orange County with her husband. She enjoys traveling, figure skating, cooking, and watching movies and Broadway musicals.
