La Paz Optometry Welcomes Dr. Leung!
La Paz Optometric Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Christina Leung to our team of physicians. Dr. Leung graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Cell Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry.
She has extensive training at the VA Medical Center of West Los Angeles, the VA Ambulatory Care Center of Los Angeles, and the Optometric Center of Los Angeles. She has practiced at the Foothill Center for the Vision Impaired and Partially Sighted in Glendora and at the Low Vision Department of Rehabilitation Clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Leung is licensed by the State Board of Optometry of California and is certified to use diagnostic and therapeutic pharmacological agents in the detection, treatment and management of eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, allergies and dry eyes. In addition to prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, Dr. Leung is dedicated to providing comprehensive optometric care for patients with a wide variety of eye conditions and patients undergoing LASIK and cataract surgery. She is committed to providing individualized and personal care.
Dr. Leung was born and raised in San Francisco and now resides in Orange County with her husband. She enjoys traveling, figure skating, cooking, and watching movies. We are excited to have her as part of our health care team. Please stop by to meet her at your next appointment.
